At the request of the Borough of Sewickley, Designstream conducted a review of the existing Cochran Hose Company facility. The purpose was to assess existing conditions and explore options for growth
at the present structure.
Designstream determined the existing site is not adequate to support a possible expansion and growth necessary to sustain a safe, top tier fire department. A new facility would not
only accommodate all necessary components for a “state of the art” facility, but would also allow the existing police and maintenance departments to better utilize the vacated
space in the current municipal building.
