Hope Square was a newly constructed, 3-story office and retail facility in The Hill Section of Pittsburgh. At 10,000 SF per floor, the building hosts specialty retail shops on the ground floor and offices above with a large central atrium and lobby.
The existing “row house” and urban vernacular of the neighborhood was the impetus for the “multi-building” façade which respects the rich history, context and fabric of the streetscape.
Natural light is a strong design tool in all of our buildings. When controlled with shading, tinting and orientation, natural light can reduce energy costs while improving attitude and productivity of the building occupants.
