The stadium sits on a 22 acre site and is level with Route 70. The two-tower arrangement at the entrance was deliberately designed to signal to passers-by the location of the commercial and entertainment venue that is CONSOL Energy Park. The architectural design of the park comes from the need to use economical materials while developing a visual presence that is strong and readable (at 65 miles/hour)
Total seating is for 3,000, which includes four luxury boxes. Additional revenues are developed by an interactive pitching area, video gaming and a hot tub. Special sofa seating, souvenir shop, kiosks, outdoor lounge and kids play areas provide the fans with alternative forms of entertainment. The field is sod with an irrigation and subsoil drainage system as well as event lighting, score board, bullpens, dugouts and maintenance and ground crew facilities.
